These are Committees of the Session and where you can get involved at MCPC!

Worship Committee – A Committee of Session, responsible for worship and associated activities at MCPC, and to provide and oversee opportunities for individual and congregational worship, devotions, and spiritual development. Contact: email the Church Office.

Property Committee – oversees and maintains the physical property of MCPC, indoors and out, including coordinating building and grounds clean-up work, and managing building use. Contact: Darryl or email the Church Office.

Personnel Committee – Responsible for oversight of paid staff positions at MCPC, including the Pastor’s Terms of Call. Contact: Ruth or email the Church Office.

Finance Committee – Serves in an advisory capacity to the Session. The Committee maintains the financials of MCPC, makes financial recommendations and ensures the financial policies of MCPC are followed. Contact Rick or email the Church Office.

Columbarium Committee – Administers the use of the columbarium. Responsibility for maintenance of the columbarium and the surrounding grounds is shared jointly by the Columbarium Committee and the Property Committee. Contact: email the Church Office.

Nominating Committee – A Committee of the Congregation. Each year the Committee seeks to discern who among the membership at MCPC is called to service as a Deacon, Elder, or member of the Nominating Committee. Their nominations are brought to a meeting of the congregation, generally the Annual Meeting at the beginning of the year.
