DEACONS
Our Deacons provide transportation and nurture to members and friends of the congregation.  Committed to caring for the “least of these” among us, there is a casserole ministry, caring communication card ministry, and regular visitation to those unable to worship with us on Sunday mornings.

POT-LUCK MEALS
When we gather as a congregation for an annual meeting or a celebration or an after-worship study, sometimes we add “Pot-Luck” to the agenda and have a wonderful meal to share with one another! In December we have a MCPC Family Christmas Party – a time to celebrate the season with wonderful fellowship.

PW LUNCHEONS
The Women of the church go to lunch together once a month, on the first Thursday.  We enjoy the fellowship and the chance to share a meal at one of the many wonderful restaurants in the area. There are also special fellowship gatherings including a We Survived Winter Lunch one Sunday in early spring.

CRAFTERS … KNITTING & CROCHET
The crafting group is all about folks who enjoy getting together to work on their craft projects.  We may work on sewing projects, or scrapbooking, and sometimes we work on crafts to sell at the Pumpkin Patch and the  Christmas Fair.  

…In 2019 our crafters group morphed into a Knitting & Crochet group. They meet on Fridays – from 9:30 to 11:30 AM in the West Room – to work on individual projects, encourage and help each other, and even teach those who want to learn! Drop in any time. If you have extra supplies you would like to share bring those too! New to the craft – just stop in!

…During the summer we move to the Brunswick Farmer’s Market with a ministry of presence.

…In October we come back to the church to staff the Pumpkin Patch on Fridays.

…And in November, when it turns chilly, we head back inside for more fellowship and some crafting. In 2019-2020 we are going to begin work on a MCPC Cookbook that will have traditional favorites PLUS recreations of those favorites for folks with specific dietary needs.
