Summer Movie Night at MCPC in 2014 … from the Annual Report

MCPC had an outdoor movie night Saturday August 30, 2014. The featured movie was “Evan Almighty” (one of Pastor Diane’s favorites), and the viewing area was the courtyard between the two wings of the building. The audio-visual set-up was arranged by Adam P. Thebeau, including the large screen for our viewing pleasure. Adam and Tricia Thebeau were able to borrow a popcorn popper from the Boy Scouts, so a couple of windows were opened in Fellowship Hall to create a concession stand. Popcorn, lemonade, and bottled water were available for a suggested donation-$41 was made, which went into the operating fund.

We hope to be able to do the movie night again this coming summer, possibly more than once. If anyone has a favorite movie that might be a good choice, please let me know. A big thank you goes out to the entire Thebeau family (can’t forget Spenser, who ably assisted with set-up and clean-up).
