When the group that was to become the Sudanese Presbyterian Fellowship came to Portland, Maine, they already had a Presbyterian worship connection. “We missed our Presbyterian way of worship that was so strong from [our] upbringing in Sudan. Eventually, two Sudanese church leaders visited Mid-Coast Presbyterian looking for a home, a place to worship.”
