Dear Friends and Family of MCPC,

The 2nd Sunday in September (September 13 this year) has become for MCPC a homecoming Sunday. Within our congregation, it is a time when most everyone is home, summer is winding to a close, and a it is good time to stop and remember who we are as a community.

This year we took a look at our church building, and all the ways the people are what make it home. And we looked at how our church being home for us has this year become our homes being church.

Our church building is still a special place. And we are prayerfully and hopefully discerning how and when we can return. Indeed, we will be in that home space for an inurnment this month and the Pumpkin Patch next month. The journey continues!
