This afternoon we unloaded more than 1500 pumpkins from the semi-truck that brought them from New Mexico. They are beautiful!
Pumpkins of all sizes…huge, large, medium, small, and wee-tiny!
Amazing colors …peach and sage green and white and cream and orange-veined, and of course traditional orange!
And there are beautiful – and funky – gourds as well!
The Pumpkin Patch will be open for business Monday October 8th through Halloween, from 10 AM until 6 PM (Sunday we will open at 11:30 AM)
Pumpkins grown for this event provide employment for Native American growers and harvesters on the Navajo Reservation in Farmington, NM.
