BIBLE STUDY on the Beatitudes from Matthew and Luke will be offered beginning in January. If enough interest, there will be two meetings a month led by Joan Coop, starting Monday, Jan. 16 a 1:30 pm (in the West Room) and Sat., Jan. 21, 9:30 am (in the Loft). The study comes from Presbyterian Women and its focus is on connecting faith with daily life. We will study the historical context of these scriptures: identifying to whom Jesus was speaking and what their life experiences were. This study was written by Rev. Margaret Aymer, a professor ofInterdenominationalTheologicalCenter inAtlanta,GA and Christian Educator Rita Boyer. FMI see www.horizons.pcusa.org. Please contact Joan Coop, if you are interested in attending either the Monday or Saturday study. Study books are available at $6.
